Born to wonderful parents in England in 1980, Jacob now lives and works in London. Jacob studied at the University of the West of England and Goldsmiths, where he now teaches. Love’s images, created using large-format film and digital processes, engage with the point where the real meets the virtual. These series, exclusive to Homoculturemag.com from the _Interior Profile_ collection deals with sex, sexuality, interior worlds, interior design, loneliness and the obsessive culture of photographic image production and consumption. The work consists of wallpaper sample books and large scale prototype wallpaper prints. The wallpaper patterns are made from the profile pictures on websites that facilitate on and offline sexual encounters for men. The source images contain bodies purposefully presented for consumption as well as unintended glimpses of the interior spaces these bodies call home. HomocultureMag.com is proud to exclusively secure 20 limited edition serialised prints of this stunning work of art, direct from the artist, but not available for sale elsewhere.
